Help Make Mia's Dreams Come True
Six year
old Mia Carrell was diagnosed in April 2007 with a rare and aggressive form of cancer
called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Mia has gone through many chemo treatments
since she was diagnosed in April 2007 which has really taken a toll on her, but
she bravely continues her fight to be well.
Mia's chemotherapy will continue until May of 2008 and this August she will start
radiation treatments at MD Anderson Hospital in Texas which will occur every day
for no less than 6 weeks. Mia will need the continued support of her friends and
family as she begins this new phase in her treatment far away from home. Mia is
a very active child with a positive attitude toward life and her current situation.
"MIA'S
DREAM FUND" has been established by Mia's classmates and their families
to help make a difference in her life. Donations will be used to assist Mia's family
in various aspects related to her care such as transportation, medication and physician
co-pays, and of course go towards her "Make a Wish" Dream Fund.
If you are able to contribute to MIA'S DREAM FUND, we thank you
very much and your donation will certainly make a difference. If you are unable
to contribute at this time, please say a prayer for Mia and her family. The prayers
of so many good and caring people will make a difference.
