"3 Rainbows for 3 Lemonade Stands"

Thank you to all who stopped by to make a donation into Mia's Dream Fund. We raised $8,000...not bad for a lemonade stand!

Yesterday we put up our tents, tables and signs and offered lemonade and snacks to neighbors, friends and family members who stopped by on this beautiful sunny day.

We were pleasantly surprised with the first few visitors who gave generous contributions but had no idea what was yet to come. People were stopping by all day long looking at our photos, reading about “Mia’s Dream Fund”, sharing stories and opening their wallets for our cause. All together, between 3 lemonade Stands, we raised a total of $8,000 for little Mia Carrell!

During all the action and transactions, we looked up in the sky and saw a beautiful rainbow above us. It appeared within a cloud like a brushstroke leading to our lemonade stand.

As a matter of fact, we didn’t see just one special rainbow, but three of them appeared in the crystal clear sky….one after the other. It seemed unusual that there would be any at all on a day like this, but there they were and we named them “Mia’s Rainbows”. These rainbows did lead us to a pot of gold and gave us faith and hope for Mia’s future. Thank you to all for your extra prayers, generosity and for helping Mia’s Dreams come true.
